Extension of Transition to MS 1480:2019 – Food Safety According to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System

With reference to the above and ACB Circular 2/2019 – Transition form MS 1480:2007  to MS 1480:2019 Food Safety According to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System issued on 30th August 2019.

For your information, due to the current COVID-19  pandemic as well as the Movement Control Order (MCO), Department of Standards Malaysia (Standards Malaysia) in discussion with the Food Safety and Quality Division, Ministry of Health, has agreed to extend the transition dates to MAS 1480:2019 up to one (1) year. Therefore, the new transition date  to MS 1480:2019 is 1 September 2021.
