Pursuant to the Movement Control Order Phase 3, we are pleased to inform that the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has granted the approval for SIRIM QAS International to commence identified operations in support of the industries.
Under the Product Certification Scheme, SIRIM QAS International is allowed to issue SIRIM Labels to existing Product Certification Licensees for Electrical & Electronic products, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Industrial Helmet, Domestic Gas Cooker and Fire Resistant Door.
Effective from the date of this letter, Licensees may now proceed to apply for SIRIM Labels. Upon approval and payment, SIRIM QAS International will immediately arrange the schedule date(s) for SIRIM Label collection and notify Licensees. For cautionary measures, SIRIM QAS International shall undertake all measures as advised by KKM and MITI including arranging the Label collection using drive through method. We advise for Licensees to also undertake all cautionary measures in adherence to SOPs under MCO.
