Forest Management & Chain-of-Custody

Forest Management & Chain-of-Custody

Manage in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

About Forest Management and Chain-of-Custody

With the growing environmental awareness, consumers are demanding that timber products come from responsibly managed forests. Organisations can assure the public by getting certified for our PEFC-MCTS forest management and chain-of-custody scheme. Apart from this, we provide Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® N002560) certification services in association with SCS Global Services (SCS).

SCS Global Services investigates complaints and appeals in compliance with its FSC Complaint and Appeal Procedure, available here

For complaints against an SCS client, the complainant should attempt to resolve the issue with the client before SCS involvement. For appeals, the appellant must lodge its appeal with SCS within thirty (30) calendar days after any adverse decision by SCS. SCS or FSC Complaint and Appeal Procedure is available in the local language of the country of operation upon request.
