We wish to notify you that the acceptance of new applications for registration as a Foreign Inspection Body (FIB) under SIRIM QAS International has been temporarily closed until further notice.
Notwithstanding, re-opening for new applications will be considered under circumstances such as:
- Introduction of new tariff codes by regulatory authorities, or
- Suspension or termination of an existing FIB following the outcomes or findings from annual site witnessing activities and/or triennial re-assessment by SIRIM QAS International, or
- Voluntary withdrawal from SIRIM QAS International registry by existing FIB.
We are committed to ensuring the integrity and quality of our services and appreciate your understanding during this period. We will provide updates on the resumption of new FIB applications as new information becomes available.
